We all take family vacations to celebrate my mom’s return from Saudi Arabia. Amana Waterpark, Laguna and Villa Escudero were a few of the places we visited. Our clothing were ready right before we went since the kids were all excited. We always leave around 4:00 AM since occasionally the rental jeep is outside our gate early and it causes gridlock.

Of course I have a favorite view that I will never forget…

With the difficult things you’re going through, it’s quite relaxing to listen to the sound of trees and water.

Due to traffic and the fact that my grandma couldn’t take traveling far, we only took a one-day trip. So, around 5:00 PM, we made our way home, where everyone arrived safely. Once inside the house, we immediately went to bed because we were tired. We thoroughly enjoyed the daylong journey, so even though it was exhausting, it was replaced with pleasure. We also have fresh memories.

But it’s impossible to avoid feeling sad when she returns and leaves, knowing that I will have to wait another year to see her again.
